January 20-25 XVI Symposium on Atomic, Cluster and Surface Physics
Les Diablerets
sponsored by SCS
The Symposium on Atomic, Cluster and Surface Physics (SASP) is one in a continuing biennial series of conferences which seeks to promote the growth of scientific knowledge and effective exchange of information among scientists in the field of atomic, molecular, and surface physics and related areas.

The symposium deals in particular with interactions between ions, electrons, photons, atoms, molecules and clusters and their interactions with surfaces, but in fact the subject matter of SASP is really much wider than the acronym would indicate.

Besides the title topics, SASP 2008 will place particular emphasis on following three areas:
- Gas-surface reactions
- Biomolecules
- Helium droplets and cold molecules
